Large planter pots for plants that need room to thrive

A large planter pot does more than hold soil — it gives structure to a room, balance to a terrace, and space for roots to thrive. Whether placed indoors or outdoors, Bergs Potter’s large garden pots are designed to support lasting plant health while adding quiet beauty to the spaces we live in.

Handcrafted using time-tested methods and available in various styles, each pot is a blend of design, durability, and plant-friendly function. From courtyards and gardens to conservatories and entryways, they’re made to feel at home year-round.

Designed for greenery with generous roots

Larger plant pots are essential for trees, shrubs, or vigorous houseplants that need more soil to grow. Our large sizes offer depth and width to help plant roots expand, anchor securely, and absorb moisture more consistently.

This added volume also improves water and nutrient retention — giving gardeners more time between waterings and reducing the risk of root stress. And with built-in drainage holes and matching saucers, each pot makes watering straightforward and plant-safe, wherever it’s placed.

Natural materials for your indoor and outdoor space

All Bergs Potter large garden pots are made from mineral-rich terracotta — specifically Galestro clay from Tuscany, known for its porous surface and organic character. This natural material lets air reach the roots and helps prevent waterlogging — two essentials for healthy, long-lived plants.

These terracotta pots are fired at high temperatures, giving them added strength and frost resistance. That makes them ideal for both indoor rooms and outdoor spaces — from garden beds and balconies to paved patios or entranceways. For indoor use, most large sizes can be paired with a matching sealed saucer, making watering easier and protecting floors and furniture.

Large planters in classic and contemporary styles

Our extensive range of garden planters includes some of our most popular designs — all available in sizes suited for more substantial plantings:

  • Cilindro – A minimal, modern shape perfect for structured greenery and spacious interiors.
  • Københavner – A royal classic scaled up for grand entrances and traditional garden layouts, with matching saucer available for separate purchase
  • Campana – Our boldest form, designed for large shrubs, trees, and focal-point planting.
  • Lucca, Flora, and Olivia – Rounded and elegant, suited to naturalistic arrangements and architectural spaces. Flora is designed with a matching saucer available for separate purchase.

Available in our signature terracotta tones — rose and grey — these designs offer a timeless, natural look that suits a wide range of interiors and gardens

Plant pots that grow with you

Bergs Potter’s large planter pots are crafted not just for beauty, but for purpose. From root-supporting depth to weight that ensures stability, they are designed for real plant life — not just display.

For outdoor use, we recommend using pot feet beneath your planter. Raising the pot slightly improves drainage and airflow, helping protect against frost damage and prolonging the life of the pot.

And because they’re made to last for years, not seasons, they become part of your space — changing alongside your plants, your home, and your routine.
