Glass

Glass brings lightness and transparency to our collection, creating a different expression from our ceramic materials. Our glass pieces are mouth-blown, a traditional production method in which the material and making process leave subtle traces in every finished piece.

How Our Mouth-Blown Glass Is Made

Our glass is shaped by skilled glassmakers, who blow the molten glass into a mould to create the final form.

Working with glass in this way requires both precision and experience. As the hot glass is shaped and cools, small differences naturally occur.

The Natural Character of Mouth-Blown Glass

Subtle variations are an inherent part of mouth-blown glass and a visible reminder of how the piece was made.

Small air bubbles may be captured within the glass, and slight variations in thickness, shape and surface can occur. Fine lines or marks from the mould may also be visible.

These characteristics are part of the expression and craftsmanship of mouth-blown glass and do not affect the quality or function of the product.

How to Clean & Care for Mouth-Blown Glass

Our glass pieces are intended for indoor use.

Clean with water and a mild dish soap using a soft cloth or sponge. Handle with care and avoid sudden changes in temperature, which may put stress on the glass.
