Your garden looks incredibly cosy, even though it’s small. Do you have any tips for gardening in small spaces?

Thank you! We’ve optimised our garden by creating several distinct spaces with different functions. Dividing the garden into ‘rooms’ makes it feel larger than it is. Using various surfaces, like grass, gravel, and tiles, also creates the illusion of more space. I highly recommend using pots of varying heights, as they can be easily moved around to make the most of a small garden.

We’ve heard you have a beautiful potting shed! Could you share more about it and how it enhances your gardening experience?
Yes, our garden shed was a natural next step in organising our space. We needed a spot for bikes, toys, and garden tools, and I also wanted a dedicated potting area. We ended up building a two-part shed, and it’s my favourite place to be from early spring to late autumn. There’s nothing like working with plants in pure daylight, and even on rainy days, the sound of raindrops on the roof makes it a therapeutic space to be in.
