We had the pleasure of speaking with Viktoria about her journey with flowers and her insights on décorating with greenery in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Could you please introduce yourself and tell us about your Instagram profile, @tthese_beautiful_thingss?
Hello! I’m Viktoria Askerow, and I love bringing nature into every space through floral arrangements and greenery. My Instagram profile, @tthese_beautiful_thingss, is where I share my journey in creating cosy, elegant interiors with flowers as the central element. My goal is to inspire others to enhance their living spaces with timeless elegance and the fresh, uplifting energy that flowers provide.
Where do you live, and do you share your home with someone?
I live in Berlin. My home is my creative sanctuary, where I experiment with flower arrangements and décor ideas. I share it with my family, who also appreciates the warmth and beauty that flowers bring to our space.
What do you do for a living?
I am a content creator and author, specialising in flower-inspired interior design. My passion is to help people enrich their living spaces with simple yet impactful floral elements. My book, Blooming Interiors – Timeless Elegance with Fragrant Statement Pieces, reflects this love for timeless, flower-filled interiors.
Your passion for flowers is evident. Can you share how this passion began and what inspired you to surround yourself with flowers and green plants in all living spaces inside and out?
My love for flowers began in my childhood, surrounded by gardens where I learned to appreciate the calming, joyful energy of plants. Over time, this evolved into a desire to bring flowers not only outdoors but also into my home. For me, flowers bring a unique mix of serenity and vibrancy, transforming every room into an oasis where nature and elegance meet.

Blooming Interiors, your book, focuses on timeless elegance with fragrant statement pieces. What motivated you to write this book, and what do you hope readers will take away from it?
I wrote Blooming Interiors to share my vision of creating spaces that are both elegant and naturally inspiring. To me, flowers are more than décoration—they bring life and warmth to any room. I hope readers feel encouraged to bring floral elegance into their homes and to experiment with various floral arrangements as timeless décor elements.
You have a talent for styling plants and flowers in outdoor spaces, including your beautiful balcony and garden. What are your top tips for décorating with green friends?
Thank you so much! My top tips include choosing plants suited to the climate of your outdoor space, mixing various textures and colours for depth, and incorporating pots or containers that complement your décor style. I also suggest arranging plants at different heights to create a balanced and visually appealing setup.
In your experience, how can flowers transform an indoor space? Are there particular arrangements or types of flowers that you find especially effective in creating a certain mood or atmosphere?
Start with a simple bouquet or a beautiful potted plant on a coffee table or windowsill. Choose flowers with subtle, pleasant scents and experiment with different arrangements. Combining flowers with green plants to add texture is also a great idea. This way, you’ll gradually develop your own style and feel more confident experimenting with larger arrangements.
Do you have a favourite season for floral styling?
Spring is my favourite season! The variety of flowers and the freshness of the season provide endless inspiration. Each season, however, has its own charm—autumn’s warm colours, winter’s simplicity, and summer’s brightness all offer unique opportunities to play with floral design.

What would a bouquet of your favourite flowers look like?
A bouquet of my favourite flowers would include peonies, garden roses, eucalyptus, and a touch of baby’s breath for lightness. The combination of soft pinks, creams, and a hint of green would create an elegant, natural arrangement.
