Viva – Self-Watering Herb Pot for the Kitchen

Bergs Potter introduces Viva, a new terracotta herb pot designed for the kitchen and for keeping fresh herbs close at hand. Viva combines breathable terracotta with a discreet self-watering function — created especially for fresh herbs.
Viva allows freshly bought or home-grown herbs to be placed directly into the pot without repotting. The integrated saucer beneath slowly supplies water through a cotton wick, helping herbs stay fresh for longer while reducing the need for frequent watering.

Designed Around Fresh Herbs

Viva’s tall, softly tapered shape is designed to gently support delicate stems while also lifting herbs slightly above the soil line. This creates a cleaner and more practical experience when cutting fresh herbs for cooking, helping avoid direct contact with damp soil while keeping greenery gathered and upright.

Hidden between the pot and saucer, a discreet cotton wick gradually draws water upwards from the reservoir below. Combined with the breathable quality of natural terracotta, the system helps maintain more balanced moisture conditions around the roots.

The result is a herb pot shaped around everyday living — fresh rosemary beside the stove, mint near an open terrace door, or dill within reach of long summer lunches outdoors.
